LICENSING TERMS FOR DIGITAL PRODUCTS

By purchasing a digital product from Posterlabel, you acquire a non-exclusive license to use the digital file according to the terms below. Ownership rights to the design and copyright remain with Posterlabel.

LICENSE TYPES

1. PERSONAL LICENSE

Included with all products by default

What you can do:

  • Print the file for personal, non-commercial use
  • Use in your home, office, or as a gift
  • Print unlimited copies for your own use
  • Resize for printing
  • Use in rented apartments or offices

What you cannot do:

  • Sell or distribute digital files
  • Sell printed copies
  • Use in commercial spaces (shops, restaurants, hotels)
  • Share files with other people
  • Upload to file-sharing platforms
  • Use in products intended for sale
  • Register the design as a trademark

2. COMMERCIAL LICENSE

Must be purchased separately for commercial use

Additional permissions:

  • Use in commercial spaces (cafés, salons, medical offices, business offices)
  • Use in your company's marketing materials
  • Use on your company's website or social media
  • Display in customer-accessible areas
  • Use in Airbnb or other short-term rentals

Limitations:

  • Valid for one company/entity
  • Cannot sell printed copies as a standalone product
  • Cannot share digital files
  • Cannot use in products intended for sale

3. EXTENDED LICENSE

For use in products intended for sale

Additional permissions:

  • Use the design on products intended for sale (t-shirts, mugs, pillows, etc.)
  • Sell physical products with the design (max. 500 units)
  • Use in templates or digital products (with limitations)

Limitations:

  • Maximum 500 sold units of physical products
  • Cannot sell or distribute the digital file itself
  • Cannot offer as print-on-demand without additional consent
  • Credit required: "Design by Posterlabel.com"

GENERAL RULES FOR ALL LICENSES

Copyright

  • All copyrights remain with Posterlabel
  • License is non-exclusive and non-transferable
  • You cannot register the design as a trademark
  • You cannot claim authorship of the design

Prohibited Use

  • Sharing, selling, or distributing digital files
  • Uploading to file-sharing platforms (Pinterest, WeTransfer, etc.)
  • Use in content that violates third-party rights
  • Use in illegal, defamatory, or offensive content
  • Reverse engineering or decompilation

Technical Modifications

Allowed:

  • Resizing for printing
  • Cropping margins
  • Adjusting color profile for printing

Prohibited:

  • Removing or altering watermark/signature (if present)
  • Substantial design changes
  • Combining with other protected works without consent

LICENSE UPGRADE

If you purchased a product with a Personal License and need a Commercial or Extended License, contact us at info@posterlabel.com with your order number. You will only pay the price difference.

VIOLATION OF LICENSE TERMS

Violation of these license terms may result in:

  • Immediate license termination
  • Claim for damages
  • Legal action under copyright law

VALIDITY

These license terms are valid from the date of purchase and apply to all digital products purchased from Posterlabel.
